I posted that I was looking to trade up my 10 year old amp for something newer and shinier. Today that process may have started.
Last night I played for the first time in months. I again had to dust off the rig and haul it over to the church to play. There I met a guitar player that I had never played with before. I mentioned that I was thinking about selling it. I told him that I only drove it to church every Saturday night then kept it in the garage. A pretty accurate statement. He took my number and called me this morning
Tonight he is coming by to test drive the Spider amp. I’m letting him have it for a few days keeping his Fender Deluxe in an escrow account. “Trust but verify”….if I can get $250 for the amp and the floorboard I’ll be happy and on my way to a new amp.
The wheels turn slow but they turn.
